The PONY – FAMILY cargo bike is great for families with taller children or that would like to have an adult sitting in the box. By removing the bench and sitting on a cushion instead, taller passengers have extra leg room and can stay dry under the Panorama Hood. The cushions are specifically designed for the PONY – FAMILY so ensure a great fit and comfortable ride.

The PONY – CARGO is safe, sustainable and low-maintenance; we design, manufacture and assemble it right in Denmark, so you know it is built to the highest standard. 

We use the Shimano STEPS e-system, which we consider the best on the market. All lights and other electronics are included when you go with a BLACK IRON HORSE cargo bike, so you’re ready to ride from day one!

Sustainability & Local Production

We use recycled plastic to create the cargo box for the PONY – FAMILY. This process makes each and every cargo box unique, so you can have a one-of-a-kind bike while also helping the environment. Furthermore, the PONY – FAMILY cargo box is light and durable so you have the peace of mind that you and your cargo are safe without sacrificing maneuverability.

We produce our frames in Europe and cargo boxes right here in Denmark, even using Danish recycled plastic and steel from northern Europe. The remaining parts are sourced as locally as possible, including hood production and components from central and western Europe, respectively. Every BLACK IRON HORSE cargo bike is designed, assembled and tested in Denmark.
