The POLLY – 4 has space for up to four passengers, plus extra cargo! BLACK IRON HORSE created this bike for larger families and groups who want the convenience of riding together without needing to use a car. With the POLLY – 4, you have the flexibility to load up to 175 kg of passengers and goods without paying for fuel or finding a parking spot.
Fun Fact: The POLLY is the same width as the PONY, so you’ll have no troubles fitting through doorways or navigating cycle lanes.
The POLLY – 4 is safe, sustainable and low-maintenance; we design, manufacture and assemble it right in Denmark, so you know it is built to the highest standard.
We use the Shimano STEPS e-system, which we consider the best on the market. All lights and other electronics are included when you go with a BLACK IRON HORSE cargo bike, so you’re ready to ride from day one!
Sustainability & Local Production
We use recycled plastic to create the cargo box for the POLLY – 4. This process makes each and every cargo box unique, so you can have a one-of-a-kind bike while also helping the environment. Furthermore, the POLLY – 4 cargo box is light and durable so you have the peace of mind that you and your cargo are safe without sacrificing maneuverability.
Our frames are welded in Europe. Our cargo boxes are moulded in Denmark. Our hoods are sewn in, you guessed it, Denmark! The plastic we recycle has been used in Denmark and we source the steel for our frames within northern Europe. Lastly, as many of our components as possible are from European companies.
