BLACK IRON HORSE is a Danish cargo bike manufacturer with a strong focus on sustainability. This applies not only to our products, which are produced with recycled plastic and as locally as possible, but also in relation to people. We want to give part of our profits back to society. That’s why we have just partnered with the Ebbefos Foundation, which funds initiatives improving the mental well-being of children and young people.

We are currently looking for a passionate and creative student to join us as a Social Media Student Assistant.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of engaging content for our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities:

• Independently create visually appealing and captivating content for our social media platforms
• Craft compelling captions and copy to accompany each post, ensuring brand consistency
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on our social media accounts in a timely and friendly manner
• Foster engagement and build relationships with our online community through active interaction
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and industry best practices to optimize our social media presence
• Contribute ideas and suggestions for continuous improvement of our social media strategy

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student at a university or college
• Passion for social media and a strong understanding of various platforms (Primarily – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
• Excellent communication skills(both english and danish) and ability to work collaboratively with a team 
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and an understanding of brand aesthetics
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in managing social media accounts (personal or professional) 
• Google Ads knowledge is a plus but not a requirement
